A Little More About Me

Okay, if you've made it this far, you probably already read my bio on my about page and want know even more about the woman behind the words. So here's a little more about me and the strange collection of things I enjoy.

In addition to writing as an author, I also use my way with words to market natural living products and essential oils. Not the woo-woo essential oils cure cancer kind (spoilers, they really really don't) but the essential oils can benefit your life kind. It's a fun way to spend my days. And I'm lucky to work on a team of successful, talented women who enjoy marketing as much as do. It's one of those collaborative, inspiring environments where women actually do lift each other up and make some beautiful marketing campaigns to boot.

When I'm not working, I tend towards homebody hobbies. I like the yarn arts (knitting, crocheting, macrame), a little bit of cross-stitch, and my Playstation. Usually I'm surrounded my fur-babies while I do it. And even though I love reading, I'm not as great at tackling my TBR pile as I'd like to be. Instead I usually go straight for the audiobooks. Something about a good voice artist bringing the words to life really hits the spot. I'll never forget realizing just how much of a talented genius Jim Dale is with his rendition of Harry Potter. No offense to Stephen Fry, but Dale can't be beat. He makes Hogwarts come alive.

Throw in some Shakespeare in the park, obscure British shows (and popular ones too) and a deep seated wanderlust I'm not good fulfilling, and you've got me in a nutshell. Spend more time here and you're sure to find out just how much weird, nerdy and *hopefully* funny I am.
